Kia EV4 Electric SUV - Exterior And Interior
According to media sources, the upcoming EV4 is anticipated to share similar dimensions with the popular Seltos mid-size SUV. Notably, the test prototype showcases a distinctively boxy design, drawing inspiration from its larger counterparts, the EV9 and EV5. Despite being veiled under heavy camouflage, you can still see a little slant at the back of the roof and wheels that are designed to help it slice through the air better.
The back of the EV4 looks a bit like the EV6, with connected LED lights that catch your eye. And at the front, the headlights remind us of the EV9. But remember, this new SUV will still have that Kia style we know, though they might make a few more changes before it's all ready.
The insides are anticipated to embrace a sleek minimalism, akin to the design in the EV6. Regarding functionalities, there will be two interconnected screens and a comprehensive range of ADAS technologies, accompanied by numerous additional advanced features.

Kia EV4 Electric SUV - Powertrain And Rivals
Beneath the hood, the EV4 is expected to derive power from a 50-60 kWh battery pack, delivering a commendable real-world range of approximately 500 kilometres. This energy source will be paired with a single-motor front-wheel-drive configuration, promising a balanced blend of performance and efficiency. While earlier speculation hinted at the EV4 being constructed on the familiar e-GMP platform, emerging reports propose an intriguing twistit might rest on the new IMA chassis, an advanced and adaptable derivative of the e-GMP foundation.
Global anticipation is building as the debut of the EV4 looms on the horizon, potentially around the year 2025. Once introduced to the Indian market, the EV4 will enter a competitive arena, pitting itself against formidable contenders such as the Maruti Suzuki eVX, Hyundai Creta EV, Mahindra BE.05, and more.
Verdict
The internet buzz surrounding the Kia EV4's leaked images has certainly caught people's attention, leading to plenty of talk. However, the actual outcome of this anticipation remains unclear, leaving everyone in suspense. What's undeniable is Kia's evident commitment to embracing the future with electric vehicles.
