Audi e-Tron
The Audi e-Tron launched here in July 2021. It is Audis first electric car in the Indian market. It is available in e-tron 50, e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback variants, priced at Rs 99.99 lakh, Rs 1.16 crore and Rs 1.18 crore, respectively (ex-showroom). The e-tron 50 comes equipped with a 71 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 379km producing 313 bhp of power and 408 Nm of peak torque. The e-tron 55 and e-tron Sportback comes packed with a 91 kWh battery pack and delivers a range of 484 km. It churns out a peak power of 408 bhp with 664 Nm of torque. Audis electric SUV takes 8.5 hours to get charged up to 80% via AC power socket and 30 minutes via DC fast charger.
Jaguar I-Pace
Next on our list of longest range electric Cars in India is the Jaguar I-Pace, which offers a range of 470 km in a single go. This Electric Vehicle is powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery and two synchronous permanent magnet electric motors. It generates a power of 400 bhp producing 696 Nm of peak torque. The I-Pace is capable of doing 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.8 seconds and with a top speed of 200kmph. Its battery can be charged up to 80% in 45 minutes with a 100 kW fast charger and in around 10 hours via 7 kW AC wall box. The Jaguar I-Pace is currently available in S, SE and HSE variants, priced at Rs 1.066 crore, 1.08 crore and 1.12 crore respectively (ex-showroom).
Mercedes Benz EQC
Mercedes-Benz India became the first luxury carmaker here to introduce an electric car. The EQC is priced at Rs 99.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and provides a claimed range between 370km 414km on a full charge. It features two asynchronous motors with a 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which produces power of 408 bhp and 765 Nm of peak torque. With a 7.5kW wall-box charger it takes around 10 hours and a 50kW DC fast charger takes 90 minutes for a full-charge. The Mercedes-Benz EQC can sprint 0 to 100kmphh in 5.1 seconds and attain a maximum speed of 180kmph.
Hyundai Kona Electric
Coming to the affordable models on our list of Longest Range Electric Cars in India, let's begin with the Hyundai Kona Electric. It is the first electric vehicle from the South Korean carmaker in the country. The car was launched back in 2019, the electric SUV is currently available in two variants Premium and Premium Dual-tone priced at Rs 23.79 lakh and Rs 23.97 lakh (ex-showroom). Kona EV is powered by a 39.3 kWh battery and a permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering 136 bhp power and 395 Nm of torque. It accelerates 0 to 100 kmph in 9.7 seconds and promises an ARAI-certified range of 452km in a single go. The lithium-ion battery pack can be charged 100% in less than 57 minutes via 50 kW DC fast charger and 6 hours 10 minutes via a standard AC power source.
MG ZS EV
MG ZS EV lineup comes with exciting and exclusive variants that cost Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 24.58 lakh ex-showroom. The electric comes equipped with a 44.5 kWh battery pack and delivers a range of 419km on a single charge. It can achieve 100kmph from standstill in 8.5 seconds. The EV is powered by 143 bhp producing 353 Nm of torque. Its battery can be charged up to 80% in 50 minutes by using a DC fast charger and in 6 to 8 hours by using an AC charger.
Tata Nexon EV
Tata Nexon EV, Indias top-selling electric vehicle has an efficient powertrain and aggressive pricing. The model is available in five variants including XM (Rs 13.99 lakh), XZ+ (Rs 15.65 lakh), XZ+ Dark Edition (Rs 15.99 lakh), XZ+ LUX (Rs 16.65 lakh) and XZ+ LUX Dark Edition (Rs 16.85 lakh). Powering the compact electric SUV is a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery generating 129 bhp power. It is equipped with Tatas Ziptron electric technology that offers a claimed range of 312km. It can get charged within 8.5 hours via AC charger and 60 minutes (90%) via DC fast charger (80%).
Tata Tigor EV
The last model on our list of Longest Range Electric Cars in India is the recently launched Tata Tigor EV. It comes in XE, XM, XZ+ and XZ+ dual-tone variants, priced at Rs 11.99 lakh, Rs 12.49 lakh, Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 13.14 lakh (ex-showroom). It has been benefited with Tatas advanced Ziptron tech that consists of a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor producing 75 bhp power and 170 Nm of peak torque. It can do 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. The electric sedan has a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery with an IP67 rated electric motor.
