Rolls Royce, the brand known for its exotic and luxury range of vehicles around the world launched its first-ever SUV in the form of Cullinan in the global markets sometime back. The Cullinan has become quite popular in India and many celebrities already own the expensive SUV. Rolls Royce has now launched the Black Badge edition of the Cullinan, which is more expensive than the standard version and it gets a price tag of whopping Rs 8.2 crores.
The Black Badge family of Rolls Royce vehicles are for the customers who uber-luxurious vehicles. It was first introduced in 2016 with the Rolls Royce Wraith and Ghost. The Rolls Royce Dawn was then inducted in the Black Badge family.
The Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge gets an all-black paint job. However, customers can further choose to customise it by choosing from over 44,000 paint shades. The Rolls Royce Black Badge edition gets 22-inch forged alloy wheels, which are not available with any other Rolls Royce cars in the market. The brake callipers get a high gloss red paint finish that has been developed by the manufacturer to withstand the high temperature of the brakes.
The customers also get to choose from various cabin options and numerous customisation options. In fact, every customer can choose options between the materials of the fabric used, star gaze roof, trim inlays, wooden inserts, seat colours and a host of other such features.
The passengers in the rear seats of the Rolls Royce Cullinan will get high-definition 12-inch touchscreen monitors with Blue-Ray player, a digital television and is assisted by the 18-speakers system from Rolls Royce bespoke audio system. The Cullinan also offers pedestrian and wildlife alert, driver alertness assists, 4-camera system with air view, active cruise control system, Wi-Fi hotspot, heads-up display and more.
The car comes powered by a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 592 Bhp and 900 Nm. It comes with a reworked exhaust system that offers 28 Bhp and 50 Nm more than the regular Cullinan. There is 8-speed automatic transmission. It gets a 4WD system with rear-wheel steering system for shorter turns.
