Yamaha India has finally launched a newer version of one of its most remarkable products- the FZ 25 Monster Energy MotoGP edition which is a limited edition of the FZ 25 motorcycle. This special edition motorcycle has been priced at Rs.1.36 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).
According to Yamaha India dealerships, this iteration of the motorcycle can be booked for a price of Rs 2,000 at any Yamaha dealership that you can find throughout India.
As per the information received, This limited edition MotoGP inspired variant will be available only in a Black paint scheme with special MotoGP branding and decals. The MotoGP branding can be seen on the fuel tank and the tank shrouds as well as the side body panels of this motorcycle.
Mechanically, the Yamaha FZ 25 Monster Energy MotoGP gets a 249cc Air-cooled 4 stroke engine with a single overhead camshaft (SOHC). The single-cylinder engine has the ability to churn out a maximum power of 20.8PS at 8000rpm with a healthy torque of 20.1Nm at 6000rpm. The engine is mated to a slick 5-speed gearbox.
In addition to the minor cosmetic changes to the motorcycle, it gets an integrated instrument cluster with a multi-function feature. The instrument cluster has a negative LCD display. The vehicle gets a well functioning Bi-LED headlight setup coupled with an LED daytime running lamp.

In addition to this, the motorcycle gets a side-stand engine cut off system, disc brakes, split seats and black alloys which are quite appealing. On the technical side, the motorcycle gets telescopic front suspension and a lightweight monocross rear suspension setup.
As for the weight of this motorcycle, one would not have to worry since it weighs only 153 Kg. In addition to this, the vehicle gets a ground clearance of 160mm which is good for Indian road conditions. The fuel tank capacity of the FZ 25 MotoGP edition is 14 litres and for safety, the bike is equipped with a dual-channel ABS system.
