The 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC engine that powers the FZ 25 generates 20.5bhp at 8,000 rpm and 20.1Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 rpm. There is a 5-speed transmission included with the engine. The motorcycle works admirably on highways and in cities. Overtaking is simple due to the abundance of low- and mid-range power.
