Pros & Cons of Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220
Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 Detailed Review
Bajaj Avenger has been a favorite of Indian customers because of its styling. The Avenger Cruise 220 takes the looks and design a step ahead by adding new design elements. The styling of the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is influenced by big cruisers such as Harley Davidson. It has been provided with a big and bulky cruiser outlook. Its body is symmetrical. Its large windscreen is quite attractive. It has a cruiser look thanks to its telescopic fork at a break angle. This Avenger Cruise 220 has a lot of chrome, including the radiator, the horn, the exhaust, the front and rear turn signals, the mirror, and the area near the pillion seat. It's made of so much chrome that it gleams in the sunlight. The fuel tank contributes to its cruiser look, the way it flares out forms a teardrop look also topped with a big chrome piece that comes with a tell-tale light, fuel filler gap, and a minimalistic instrument cluster that is fully digitally situated above the chrome piece. It has a long single-piece seat with a backrest for the pillion seat which does not make it very comfortable but is good. ]The engine is 220 cc while the power of this Avenger Cruise 220 is 18.7 bhp. The Torque is 17.5 Nm. The brake type being disk with the typers are tubes. The seat height is 737 mm.
Summary
The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has a traditional cruiser design. Its wonderfully smooth curves and usage of chrome components ensure that one stands out on the road while riding it, and makes one feel distinct from the throng.
The overall dimensions of the Avenger Cruise 220 are bigger than its siblings due to the addition of a windscreen and engine crash guard. The Cruiser 220 has been specifically designed to take on the highways and not the city streets. The seat height on the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is 737 mm. It has large forward-set footpads in the cruiser style. It has a nice brake pedal and a large gear shift. The grips on the handlebars are fantastic. The rider's vision is blocked by the windscreen, which protects him from the air and buffeting, particularly on the head. Its mirror has a limited number of movements and requires a significant amount of time to set up. Even when the bike is running at a high pace, the handlebars do not vibrate significantly. The rider seat is smaller than the pillion seat. This seat is long enough and has a backrest, but it lacks comfort and is not suitable for extended rides. Its kerb weight is 163 kg, which is completely manageable.
Summary
The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has a low seat that allows the rider to easily touch the ground with their feet when seated. It's also lightweight, making it simple to manoeuvre.
Bajaj Avenger was popular since its launch because of the peppy engine and smooth gearbox combination. The Cruise 220 comes with a more powerful engine for easy highway cruising. The motor on the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is comparable to that of the renowned Pulsar 220F. The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is equipped with an oil-cooled 220 cc DTS-i engine that generates 18.7 BHP at 8500 rpm and 17.5 Nm at 7000 rpm, although its suspension is a tad harsh. The engine of the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is connected to a five-speed gearbox, which is the same old five-speed unit gearbox. It has a fuel tank size of 13 litres and an ARAI-claimed flue economy of 38 kmpl; thus, leading to a longer riding range on the highways. It travels in a straight course effortlessly, but it does not lean swiftly or change routes smoothly. This motorcycle now has a fuel injection system.
Summary
The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 is powered by a 220cc engine that delivers 38 km/pl to the rider.
The tyre combination of the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 has been calibrated in a way that the bike remains confidence-inspiring over the highways. The rear tyre is 130/90 -15 in size and comes with dual shock absorbers. The front tyre is 90/90 -17 in size. Its seat is composed of high-quality materials that make the journey comfortable for both the rider and the pillion passenger. Auburn Black and Moon White are the two colours available for this bike. Both of the colours are stunning. Additionally, the ride quality has improved because of the tyre size and better brakes.
Summary
The Bajaj Avenger Cruiser has generic safety and braking features and does not introduce anything noteworthy.
