Mahindra Alturas, on the contrary comes with a 4 cylinder, 2157 cc, D22DTR Diesel engine which can generate 178 PS @ 4000rpm power and 420Nm@1600-2600rpm torque.

Toyota Fortuner has a warranty of 3 Years/1 lakh Kms and Mahindra Alturas has 3 Years / 120000 Km Warranty.

Fortuner has Ventilated Disc brakes, Double Wishbone Suspension suspension with 4-Link with Coil Spring suspension and Ventilated Disc brakes in rear wheels. It has a 265/65 R17 front tyre size. Contrastingly, Mahindra Alturas has Double Wishbone With Coil Spring suspension and Ventilated Disc brakes in 255/60 R18 sized front wheels. It has Ventilated Disc brakes in rear wheels.
