Force Gurkha 5 Door

Last Updated On 26th Feb’24 : Force Motors has been diligently developing the highly anticipated Grukha 5-Door SUV for quite some time now. This new SUV is built on a longer platform derived from the current 3-Door model. Recent sightings of the vehicle undergoing testing in Ladakh have unveiled fresh insights into its features and design.

Force Gurkha 5-Door Engine : The upcoming Gurkha 5-Door will use the same 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 91 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox & a manual 4X4 shift lever. Additionally, it also gets manually locking front & rear differentials. The short gearing and engine tuning of this powertrain will ensure that you have enough power for traffic conditions. The 4x4 low transfer box also guarantees tonnes of torque in challenging driving conditions.

Design & Dimensions : The overall silhouette of the upcoming Force Gurkha 5-door will remain similar to the current gen 3-door version. The boxy design will be carried forward. In terms of dimensions, the current generation Gurkha measures 4116mm in length, and 1812mm in width, and 2075mm in height, the upcoming Gurkha 5-door will boast more length in order to accommodate more seats and provide more leg space. However, we can expect the width and height to remain the same. We can also expect the Gurkha 5-door to feature different seating configurations. 

Features : The upcoming Gurkha 5-door will come with all four power windows, and other features include follow-me-home lighting, dual airbags, ABS, manual climate control, a touch-screen infotainment system with Android Auto,  round LED headlights and TPMS or tyre pressure monitoring system and other features.

Engine : The five-door Gurkha might come with the same 2.6-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine found in the three-door version, which pumps out 90 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It's expected to stick with a five-speed manual transmission as the only option.

Features : The five-door Force Gurkha will feature LED headlights with daytime running lights, fog lights, vertically-stacked tail lights, a seven-inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, an electric sunroof, power windows, a three-spoke steering wheel, Tyretronics (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), electric ORVMs, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, child safety locks, ABS, central locking, door ajar warning, and EBD.

Price : The upcoming Force Gurkha 5 Door is anticipated to be priced at Rs 15.50 lakh.

Rivals : The five-door Force Gurkha will compete directly with similar models like the five-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Mahindra Thar.
