Kawasaki Ninja 650 BS6 Is Rs 35K Expensive Than BS4; Gets New Features

Just a few days ago we mentioned that the bookings for the Ninja 650 has started and now Kawasaki has launched the bike. The prices for BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 sticks at Rs 6.24 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is now 35,000 more expensive than the BS4 model but now also comes with updated features!

Sharing details about the engine first then it hosts a 649, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, parallel-twin engine that makes 68 bhp of power. The torque figures are slightly altered and now sees 64 Nm instead of 65.7 Nm. The only change here other than torque figures is of the exhaust note and airbox. It gets the same 6-speed manual gearbox and the kerb weight of the bike sticks at 192 kg.

What's new is that the updated BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 now gets a 4.5-inch TFT display which provides more information than before and can be connected via Bluetooth. The RIDEOLOGY app ensures to increase the riding experience by helping the rider access some of the functions from the instrument cluster.

Cosmetically, the Ninja 650 BS6 looks meaner than before because of the presence of new LED twin headlights. The side fairings and the tail section have been reworked which helps in achieving an agile look. The front windshield is redesigned too. It now comes with two colour options - Pearl Flat Stardust White and Lime Green Ebony.

The superbike gets Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres and gets 300mm petal disc at the front while the 220mm petal disc sticks to the rear. The bike also gets dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock braking system) for additional safety. It receives telescopic front forks at the front and an adjustable pre-shock absorber at the rear for suspension.
