| Review & Win

HONDA ELEVATE is one of the latest products from Honda Cars India and a late entry to the Compact-SUV party. It comes with top-class safety features. They are unmatched in comfort. It has the most reliable I-VTEC engine. Simple design language with a massive SUV road presence provides it with a modern-day appeal. It is available in only one engine option and is priced very aggressively to eat the competition. It mainly rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. It also rivals the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and MG Astor.

Variant Recommendation

author

The Honda Elevate is offered in a single-engine option with four variants on offer. It comes with both a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT transmission. According to us, the most value-for-money variant with both transmissions on offer is the VX Variant. The V variant misses on some features and the VX variant does not offer ADAS safety features. Upgrading to the ZX variant is a good upgrade and you’ll get all the necessary features on offer along with the ADAS safety features.

  • Features we admire in this car

    • Comes equipped with the popular VTEC engine.
    • Provides utmost comfort in the cabin.
    • It has LEVEL 2 ADAS for added safety.
    • It is one of the biggest in dimensions compared to its rivals.
    • Boot space is the best in the segment with 458L on offer.
    • The CVT gearbox is smooth with shifts.
  • Features that could have been better

    • It misses on the Hybrid/diesel engine which the competition offers
    • Lacks some premium features like ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera.
  • Should I buy the Elevate?

Honda Elevate is a great product with good comfort, a refined engine, and exceptional safety features on offer. It is a good family car for your weekday commutes. The large boot is enough for your weekend getaways. The Elevate stands out with its premium interiors. Rear seats offer ample space, packed with good features. It's a compelling choice for many buyers. If you're not sold on the Elevate yet, consider competitors like Kia Seltos or Hyundai Creta.

Simple Design Language With Macho Suv Character 9
    • The design language of the Honda Elevate is simple with a clean layout. The grill is big and the all-LED headlights provide excellent throw at night. The chrome strip connecting the headlights provides an aesthetically pleasing design. The design is simply finished with a silver skid plate at the bottom part.
    • Coming to the side, it has 17” diamond-cut alloy wheels that provide one of the largest ground clearance in the segment. The chrome door handles and the roof rails give it a premium appearance. The dual-tone paint scheme enhances the aesthetics. The left ORVM has a camera placed.
    • At the rear, the simplicity of the design is continued. The LED taillamps are simple in design and get a connected sort of treatment. The rear has a clean look with minimal use of chrome on offer. Coming to the boot space on offer is one of the biggest in the segment. It has a 438 L of boot space on offer that accommodates your weekend luggage very easily.

The next strong contender on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Both are offered in petrol engines but Honda Elevate has more power and performance than the Grand Vitara. In terms of cabin experience and seating comfort, both are great. But, Elevate takes the lead. Its cabin feels much bigger and roomier. The Grand Vitara is offered in a Hybrid version, CNG version, and AWD option as well. On the contrary, Elevate offers a single version only with a single engine on offer. Elevate has taken the lead on boot space and ground clearance. It offers the segment's biggest boot and largest ground clearance. In terms of features, Grand Vitara has more features on offer than the Elevate. In terms of safety, Elevate offers LEVEL 2 ADAS. This adds safety for its customers. The Grand Vitara currently lacks this feature.
