    Same Design Language With Blue Accents 7
    • The Tigor EV gets the same design language as the regular ICE version. The only difference is that the blue accents used at multiple areas highlight that it is an EV.
    • The front face is strong and the blue line connecting the headlights provides a subtle gesture of being an EV. The projector setup for the headlamps provides good illumination at night.
    • Coming to the side profile of the Tigor EV, the 14” alloys with blue accents on them state that it is an EV. The alloy wheel size could have been improved to provide a better driving experience. The subtle use of chrome on the door handles and the window lining provides a sheer elegance to the EV sedan.
    • Going to the rear profile, the taillamps are attractive with LED units. The subtle use of the chrome connecting the taillamps provides an aesthetically pleasing design. A blue strip lower down states that it is an EV again.
    • Coming to the boot space, it is now reduced as compared to the ICE version. The regular ICE version has a boot space of 419L but in EV avatar, it is reduced by 100L.

      The next competition is the E-C3 from Citroen India. Both are priced in the same bracket but in practical real life, the Tata Tigor EV has a much better road presence compared to the E-C3. In terms of range, E-C3 has a claimed range of 320 km on a single charge and would return about 200-250 km. On the other hand, the Tata Tigor EV has 315 km of claimed range and will roughly a better efficiency on the road. Talking of space and comfort, the Tigor EV feels like a much better product than the E-C3.     • Tata Nexon EV consumes approx 30 KWh power to get fully charged which is equivalent to 30 units. On average, a 3kW solar panel might take around 22 hours to charge the car with it works continuously, but practically it is not possible to get it done in a single day.

While the eC3 comes at a more affordable price point compared to the Tigor sedan, it delivers a comparable range and performance. As an SUV, it boasts a more commanding visual presence and heightened ground clearance. Notably, the eC3 seamlessly accommodates consecutive DC fast charging sessions without adverse effects on the battery pack.

    Tigor EV Price: The price of the tata Tigor EV ranges from Rs. 12.49 Lakh to Rs. 13.75 Lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in  XE,XT, XZ, and XZ+ Lux variants.

    Exterior: The all-new Tata Tigor EV is built with a magnetic red color with a contrasting black roof. The bold front grille of the car is designed with a blue humanity line and is a sign of pure elegance and style. Moreover, the exterior of the car is enhanced by daytime running lamps (DRLs) and the signature LED taillamps are added for a unique night signature look. The projector headlamps are added to help you navigate your terrain with better visibility. 

    Engine: Permanent magnet synchronous motor which produces the power of 55 kW (74.7 PS) and torque of 170 Nm. Comes with the 26 kWh High energy density Lithium-ion IP 67 battery pack with liquid cooled thermal management system. The ev has a single-speed transmission for automatic like drive. The upgraded Tigor EV's ARAI-certified range is rated at 315 km, compared to the previous Tigor EV's rating of 306 km.

    Features: The Tigor EV now has features including automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control. Additionally, Multi-Mode Regen. Zconnect Connected Car Technology. The entire line will come with Smartwatch Connectivity, iTPMS, and a Tyre Puncture Repair Kit as standard features.
