The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is just a few hours from its official launch in the Indian market. 2024 Maruti Swift ZXI Variant
The recently leaked ZXI variant has revealed some new features of the upcoming hatchback. The top-spec ZXI variant will get an all-black front grille, LED DRLs, an LED projector headlamp, 15-inch silver painted alloy wheels with a new design, and turn indicators mounted on ORVMs, the brand has placed the rear door handle in its conventional place instead of the C-pillar. At the rear, it gets a rear wiper with a washer, rear defogger, LED tail lamp, high-mounted stop lamp, an integrated roof spoiler, and rear parking sensors. The ZXI variant doesn't have a rear parking camera.
The 2024 Swift has become longer in size as well the Swift has become longer in size and boasts a length of 3,860 mm which has improved the length by 15mm, height is now 1,520 mm and previously it was 1,530 mm, the width of the hatchback remains the same.
On the features front, the dashboard is now adorned with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The infotainment boasts a similar UI as the Baleno and other Maruti cars. The ZXI variant comes with automatic climate control, an analog instrument cluster with a MID, steering-mounted control, wireless charging, all-4 power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear AC vents, and 6-airbags among other features.

2024 Maruti Swift Engine
The 2024 Swift's major update is the new engine, it will come with a new Z-series 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces 82 PS of power and 112 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be available with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
Verdict
Since its debut in 2005, the Swift has consistently been India's favored hot hatchback. The upcoming 2024 Swift introduces significant changes, including a new engine for improved efficiency. Loaded with new features, this new-generation Swift is anticipated to achieve a good safety rating. We can anticipate the pricing of the new Swift will be higher than the current model.
