Last Updated on 1st May'24 : The upcoming 2024 Maruti Swift facelift is set for launch on May 9 and the official bookings are now open at Rs. 11,000 token amount. Coming with major upgrades over the outgoing model, let's look at what the refreshed model is poised to bring along.

Engine: The latest Suzuki Swift in Japan comes with a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder mild-hybrid petrol engine, generating 82 PS and 108 Nm of torque. It pairs with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission and offers both 2-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options.

Features: The upcoming Swift is anticipated to include features like a heads-up display, a 9-inch touchscreen unit, cruise control, automatic AC, connected car technology, up to 6 airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, electronic stability program (ESP), reverse parking sensors, and ABS with EBD.

Dimensions: The Japan-spec new-gen Suzuki Swift measures 3,860 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height.

Launch: The new Swift is expected to be launched in India by the mid of 2023. It might get displayed at the Indian Auto Expo 2023 in January.

Price: The Maruti Suzuki Swift  could be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh.

Rivals: The new-gen Swift will directly compete with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and can also be seen as a sportier option compared to the Maruti Wagon R and Maruti Ignis, as well as the Renault Triber.
