Komaki Flora Electric Scooter Details
The most interesting bit of the Flora e-scooter is its design. Komaki has tried to display an outlook of a proper ICE-powered scooter with it. However, it also comes with high-tech features like LED lighting. The front gets a neo-retro design with a round headlight and sharp ORVM design. Additionally, a slated chrome grille enhances the premium appeal of the front design. Komaki has also added a 240mm front disc brake for more safety. Meanwhile, it also gets alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
The single-piece seat comes with an additional pillion backrest. Additionally, the footboard area is also large and flat for easy luggage ferrying. However, the rear design endorses a retro appeal. The electric motor has been placed alongside the rear wheel. Meanwhile, the battery pack has been placed underneath the seat.
Komaki Flora uses a Lithium Ion Ferro Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery pack. This battery pack has been paired with a 3,000W electric motor. Meanwhile, Komaki claims that this battery pack can complete up to 85-100 km of riding range. However, this range is variable as per the riding conditions. Additionally, the battery pack is swappable which means that home charging is easy on it. It takes approximately 4-5 hours to completely charge this battery pack at home.
Verdict
At Rs 78,999; the Komaki Flora competes with the likes of Ola S1 Air & TVS iQube. It aims towards customers who want a neo-retro scooter with the latest tech & good riding range.
