TVS iQube Electric Detailed Review
- The TVS iQube is an elegantly designed electric scooter available in the market. It has a simple appearance, resembling a traditional petrol scooter. At the front, it features a sleek headlamp mounted on the apron, integrated turn signals, a U-shaped LED Daytime Running Light (DRL) on the handlebar, and a small windscreen. The sides of the scooter showcase stylish body panels adorned with iQube branding, while the rear is equipped with a sleek LED taillight that also includes integrated turn signals. To enhance its aesthetic appeal, the scooter comes with body-colored mirrors.
- In terms of quality, the scooter feels and looks premium. The body panels are fitted with precision, showing no gaps, and the paint quality is superior. The seat is comfortable and plush, contributing to an overall good fit and finish that is on par with other products from TVS.
- The new dual-tone color options added to the scooter enhance its premium and appealing look. To provide a dual-tone effect, the brand has included beige-colored inner panels and a dual-tone seat.
- The all-new S 4.7 kWh variant of the iQube comes with two new colour options - Magnificence Purple Beige and Harlequin Blue Beige - while the third option is the existing Mercury Grey. The rest of the scooter remains familiar to the other models.
iQube Electric body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 157 mm |

- Another strong point of iQube is its very comfortable riding position. The handlebar is positioned towards the rider while the big seat helps in achieving a high-set riding position. Also, the footboard area is enough to easily move legs on the go.
- The single seat of iQube is the best in its segment. The amount of cushioning it offers is more than ample. Even with a pillion, the seat remains wide and comfortable enough to ride. One can ride the iQube easily for a long duration inside the city due to the comfortable set up of seats and riding posture.
- The suspension set-up of iQube is simply the best in its segment. The comfy ride quality is instantly felt on it. The iQube simply absorbs the bad roads, cracks on the road, and undulations. Additionally, due to the plaint ride it remains confident on high speeds of above 60 kmph.
- The iQube is a heavy scooter in its category due to the use of metal body parts. Hence, handling of it is not as sharp as the Ather but it does manage well inside the city. It is only when you ride with a pillion that you’ll tip-toe to balance it in city traffic. Otherwise, the handling is very neutral.
- Braking is another strong area of iQube. The initial bite from the brakes is very sharp and confidence-inspiring. Even after long use on ghat roads downhill, the brakes don’t lose their bite. Due to the strong braking of iQube, the rider remains confident riding it
- The iQube comes with a decent number of features to make your every ride comfortable and convenient. It comes with all-LED lighting, a 7-inch colour TFT display, connected features, HMI joystick, Q-park assist, turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, TPMS, USB mobile charging, and riding modes among other features.
- On the hardware front, the iQube is fitted with 12-inch tubeless tyres, telescopic front forks, and hydraulic twin shocks at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 220 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm rear drum brake. The overall dimensions, L X W X B, of the scooter are 1,805 X 645 X 1,140 mm.
- The iQube is available with a total of five battery pack options, which are divided across three variants of the e-scooter - iQube, iQube S, and the top-spec ST. The highest number of iterations are available with the base iQube, which comes with three battery pack options - 2.2 kWh, 3.1 kWh, and 3.5 kWh. Then comes the mid-premium iQube S variant, which is offered with a 4.7 kWh battery pack. Lastly, the top-spec ST is equipped with the biggest 5.3 kWh battery pack.
- 2.2 kWh - Offers a claimed range of 94 km, top speed of 75 km/h, and does 0-40 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
- 3.1 kWh - Delivers a claimed range of 123 km with a top speed of 82 km/h.
- 3.5 kWh - Offers a claimed range of 145 km and a top speed of 78 km/h.

- 5.3 kWh - The top-spec battery pack delivers a claimed range of 212 km with a top speed of 82 km/h.
- Out of these, the newly launched variant with a 4.7 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of 175 km, a top speed of 82 km/h, and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 4.3 seconds. It takes 4 hours to charge from 0-80%.
- The TVS iQube offers three battery pack options: 2.2 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 5.3 kWh. These versions correspond to three different variants of the scooter, each with an IDC-claimed range of 94 km, 145 km, and 212 km, respectively. The scooter is equipped with a BLDC motor that delivers a peak power of 4.4 kW and a peak torque of 140 Nm. The top speeds for each battery variant are as follows: the 2.2 kWh variant achieves a maximum speed of 75 km/h, the 3.5 kWh variant can reach up to 78 km/h, and the 5.3 kWh variant has a top speed of 82 km/h.
- TVS offers a standard portable 950-watt three-pin wall-mounted charger for the iQube. This charger can charge the iQube Standard 2.2 kWh variant from 0% to 80% in 2 hours and 45 minutes. The 3.5 kWh variant takes 4 hours and 30 minutes to charge fully. For the S and ST 3.5 kWh variants, charging from 0% to 80% requires 3 hours, while the ST 5.3 kWh variant takes 4 hours and 18 minutes to reach the same level.
- The TVS iQube lineup supports portable off-board charging and can be charged using a regular household socket. Charging times vary depending on the battery pack size.
