• The Ampere Magnus looks very simple and at the same time, athletic and doesn’t have any weird angles. It's a family oriented electric scooter so nothing aggressive or radical is expected from it, but Ampere is offering several cool colour options and that does give it a premium side. 
• The front panel looks neat, featuring inverted C-shaped turn indicators, while the LED headlight suits the scooter’s proportions well. It rides on 12-inch front wheels and, though it doesn’t have ABS, it comes equipped with Ampere’s advanced braking technology.
• The side panel has a clean, simple design with subtle graphics on the body, while the large seat stands out. From this angle, it even resembles several sporty ICE scooters.
• At the rear, the Magnus features stylish halogen tail lamps with integrated turn indicators. It’s offered in two variants, each with a different grab-handle design - the Neo gets an arrow-shaped handle, while the Grand comes with a more premium, conventional design. 
• In terms of colours, the Neo is available in five shades, while the Grand offers two options.

• This electric scooter is powered by a removable 2.3 kWh LFP battery, enabling a top speed of 65 km/h and a true range of 95 km (as claimed by the OEM). It takes around 5 - 6 hours for a full charge. The scooter has a maximum load capacity of 150 kg, with hydraulic suspension at the front and a coil-spring setup at the rear.
• For city commutes, these figures are more than sufficient, and with its claimed range, the Magnus will need no more than two battery top-ups a week.

  The Ampere Magnus is the perfect family scooter. The comfort level is excellent, and it runs very smoothly. I especially love the digital display and the long battery backup — I easily get around 90 km on a single charge.

  Highly Recommended Escooter
  I really like this scooter. It has a few minor issues, but nothing that affects daily use. The performance is more than adequate for city rides, and I've also taken it on highway trips. I've covered over 5,500 km in just 5 months and managed to save around ₹11,000 on petrol. I highly recommend it for local commuting and simple daily activities. While the charging time is a bit long, it’s not a problem for me — I charge it overnight, and it easily lasts a day or two based on my usage.

  Disappointing Experience
  The Ampere Magnus has delivered a very poor performance in my experience. Within just 2 years, both the battery and controller went out of service. The pickup is very low, and the mileage is disappointing — around 60 km on a full charge, which drops to just 40 km with double load. Overall, it feels like a wasteful investment.

  Smooth Driving Experience
  It’s a good-performing scooter and suitable for smooth driving. The maintenance cost is not very high. In my four years of riding, I haven’t faced any problems, and the service center has also been cooperative.
