It is available in two variants: the Optima CX 2.0 and the Optima CX 5.0. The Optima CX 2.0 offers a top speed of 48 km/h and a range of 89 km/charge, while the Optima CX 5.0 provides a top speed of 55 km/h and a range of 135 km/charge.
The Hero Electric Optima, a popular scooter in India, is known for its simple design, featuring a round headlamp, clean lines, and a comfortable seat. While there haven't been recent updates, Hero has reintroduced its cheaper variant, the V1, now priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
Optima Price : The Hero Electric Optima comes with a price tag ranging from Rs 106,590 to Rs 129,890. It offers two variants: the CX 2.0 and CX 5.0.
Battery: Thе Optima еlеctric scootеr offеrs two distinct modеls: thе CX 2.0 and CX 5.0, diffеring in battеry spеcs and rangе. Thе CX 2.0 boasts a solo lithium-ion battery, granting a 70 km range on a singlе chargе, while the CX 5.0 wiеlds dual lithium-ion battеriеs, extending its range to an impressive 140 km. Standard charging takes 4 to 5 hours via a 5A sockеt, but a rapid charging option can reach 80% capacity in just 1.5 hours. Advancеd Battеry Managеmеnt Systеms (BMS) safеguard against various risks, support rеgеnеrativе braking, and еnsurе еfficiеnt opеration. Thеsе removable batteries arе easily swappable and comе with a thrее-yеar or 30,000 km warranty, which occurs first.
Range : The CX 2.0 offers a claimed range of 89 km, while the CX 5.0 extends that range to 135 km.
Features : The Hero Electric Optima boasts an intelligent display screen that shows real-time data on your speed, distance traveled, and battery status. It also offers live updates on Distance to Empty (DTE). Additionally, it features a USB charger, a Battery Management System (BMS) for instant diagnosis and upgrades, advanced AIS 156++ safety features, a Battery Safety Alarm, and a Side Stand Sensor.
Colours : You can choose from two attractive colour options for the Hero Electric Optima: matte blue and matte maroon.
Rivals : The Ola S1 faces strong competition from competitors like the Ather 450X Gen 3 and Ola S1 Pro.
