The Chetak stands out for its solid build quality, refined ride, and premium design compared to most electric scooters. It is reliable and easy to live with in cities. However, limited performance and under-seat storage compared to rivals reduce practicality slightly. It suits buyers wanting a durable, stylish EV.

Pros & Cons of Chetak C35

What we admire in this scooter

Charming design which perfectly makes use of modern elements on retro body shape.

35L of boot space is the best in the segment.

The 5-inch TFT display is packed with all the modern features. Plus, it’s a touchscreen as well.

Available in five striking glossy colors.

Bajaj's strong network and brand value make it a more reliable option than its rivals.

The new 35 Series uses a 3.5 kWh battery pack, which has a certified range of 153 km.

The seat height has been increased to 725 mm in the 35 Series variants.

What could have been better

Rivals like Ola S1 offer more range at this price tag

Limited app connectivity features, most of which are visible only on the TFT display.

Poor fit and finish of the charging socket, which appears like an after thought

Unlike rivals, its charging socket is under the seat, which is a major drawback.

There is no disc brake at the rear, even at Rs 1.27 lakh ex-showroom.

Best Electric Scooter in India

The Bajaj Chetak is one of the best electric scooters in India. Its build quality is very good for the price, making it a great value for money. I am interested in buying the 3503 variant at a reasonable cost with the lowest possible interest rate. Thank you.

Excellent Electric Vehicle

This is a must-buy vehicle with good build quality and an attractive design. It is a user-friendly electric scooter, perfect for everyday use. I still remember the great experience with the petrol version of the Bajaj Chetak. Now, it’s wonderful to have another opportunity to enjoy the same trusted brand in the form of an electric vehicle.
