TVS Motor Company has unveiled the world’s first CNG scooter the Jupiter 125 CNG. The Jupiter 125 CNG will be a more cost-friendly version as it will offer good mileage. The brand claims that the CNG version will offer a claimed mileage of over 80 km. The scooter will be the first CNG scooter in the world and it is expected to be launched by the end of this year.

Last Updates On 21st Jan'25: TVS Motor Company unveiled the world’s first CNG-powered scooter at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. The brand showcased the Jupiter 125 CNG, which will have the same 125cc engine and offer a claimed mileage of 84 km/kg.
Design: The new Jupiter 125 CNG boasts the same design as the regular 125cc version. The only difference is the CNG sticker on the front apron and the CNG badging on the sides of the scooter. It continues to get the same LED headlamp, apron-mounted halogen turn indicators, a long seat, and other similar design elements.
Powertrain: The new Jupiter 125 CNG is powered by a 125cc FI engine producing 7.1 bhp of power and 9.4 Nm of peak torque. The engine gives a mileage of 84 km/kg and it can go up to a top speed of 80.5 km/h. Moreover, the scooter comes with a 9.5-litre CNG cylinder and a 2-litre petrol tank. The brand claims that it will offer a combined range of 226 km.
Features: The Jupiter 125 CNG will come with an LED headlamp and taillamp, semi-digital instrument console, TVS intelliGo technology, side stand indicator and engine cut-off, and USB charging port, among other features.
Launch & Pricing: The CNG version of the TVS Jupiter 125 CNG is expected to be launched in the festive season this year. The pricing is expected to be on the higher side as compared to the regular version of the scooter.
