New Bajaj Chetak, Next-Gen Pulsar, Sub-350cc KTM And Triumph Models To Be Launched Soon!

Bajaj Auto has been keeping itself busy, as it has now announced some rather interesting plans, which aren't just limited to itself, but will also apply to the KTM, Triumph, and even the Chetak lineup. There are also plans to add a completely new motorcycle lineup as well.

Bajaj Auto To Launch New Pulsar, Chetak And More; Details

At the recent investor's call for Q2 FY 2026, Bajaj Auto first announced plans for the Chetak. It plans to launch 'an absolutely new model' by early 2026, which is believed to be the next-generation model, since the current Chetak has been around since 2020. The two-wheeler maker said it regained the top position in terms of VAHAN registrations, despite production and supply challenges, and it aims to maintain the leading position in its segment.

With the new GST regime kicking in, two-wheelers above the 350cc capacity are taxed at 40 per cent. This did affect the KTM 390 series and the new 400cc Triumph models, causing Bajaj to absorb the hiked taxes to sustain demand, particularly during the festive season. Bajaj now says it is 'reshaping its portfolio to take advantage of the lower GST rates'. Rakesh Sharma, Managing Director, Bajaj Auto, did not give away any timelines, simply stating these will be launched 'in due course.'

Coming to the Pulsar lineup, he also added that three new models are lined up between December, March 2026, and May 2026. Additionally, there will be a completely new motorcycle brand, which is being kept under very tight wraps. Bajaj says it will come 'sooner rather than later', more specifically in the next fiscal year, which could mean anytime around April or June.
