The Ola S1 X, third generation, is an electric scooter available with three battery pack options. A special variant, called the X+, has also been launched, offering more power, better performance, and a premium design. Compared to the previous generation, several aspects have been improved, including the mechanism, technology, design, and range.

Ola Electric S1 X Gen 3 Latest Update

Latest Update on 4th Apr'25 : Ola S1 X entered its 3rd generation in February, 2025, where its range and power went up. After that, Ola hasn’t given it any further update, however, as per a latest news piece; Ola is planning to add more scooters and bikes in their lineup with even more range and power and for everyone surprise, the automaker is planning to add an electric tourer in their varied range of portfolio, and their launch is expected to happen in Q2 of FY2026.

Ola Electric has launched the third generation of its S1 Series, with the S1 X lineup receiving updates in technology and features. Additionally, for customers who prefer the affordability of the S1 X but desire the performance of the S1 Pro, Ola has introduced the new S1 X+. A key highlight of this scooter is its impressive 242 km IDC range and a new 4.3-inch LCD display powered by MoveOS 5.

Ola Electric S1 X Gen 3 Detailed Review

From a design perspective, nothing has changed from generation 2 to generation 3 of Ola S1 X. It still appears like a lightweight scooter, with minimalistic design approach and comes in a half paint and half black body panels.
There are several new features in this third generation, including a sporty new grab handle for rear passengers. Ola also mentions that they have enhanced the seat ergonomics.
There are no disc brakes on offer; the only option for braking is the combi-brake system.

Daily Ride

The vehicle has a very good range compared to other brands, making it excellent for daily use, especially for 140 km of travel. However, the customer service is not very good, and some service centers provide poor servicing.

Power & Performance

This is truly the best in its class, offering an outstanding combination of power, looks, and performance. Its pickup is incredibly quick, and the braking performance is unmatched compared to other companies’ products.
