Ola Electric, India's leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer, today launched the third generation of its S1 Series, introducing two completely new products: the Ola S1 X+ and the Ola S1 Pro+. The most affordable e-scooter starts at Rs 79,999, while the priciest model is priced at Rs 1,69,999. The biggest highlight is the 320 km IDC range on offer, along with a top speed of 141 km/h on the new flagship S1 Pro+.
Customers can place orders now, with deliveries expected to begin by mid-February. Importantly, these are introductory prices valid for a limited 7-day period. Ola S1 X
The generation 3 of Ola S1 X is available with three battery packs;
- 2kWh - Rs 79,999
- 3kWh - Rs 89,999
- 4 kWh - Rs 99,999
Talking about the 4 kWh battery pack, its peak power is 7KW (9.5 ps), top speed 123 km, IDC range of 242 km and 0 to 40 in 3 seconds. Moreover, this 3rd generation brings several new things, such as:
- Break by wire technology
- Mid-drive motor with integerated MCU
- Longer seat
- New grab handle
- Chain drive
- New colour 4.3 Inch LCD
Ola S1 X +
The S1 X+ is a completely new product, representing a step up from the S1 X. It is available with a single 4 kWh battery pack. Its design is more evolved, featuring several advanced elements such as single-channel ABS with brake-by-wire technology, disc brakes, a physical key, and availability in six colors.
Peak power on offer is 11 KW (14.95 ps), top speed of 125 km, IDC range of 242 km, and 0 to 40 km in 2.7 seconds.
Introductory price is set at Rs 1,07,999.
Ola S1 Pro
The earlier flagship product from Ola Electric has gotten even better with updates such as rim decals, die-cast aluminum grab handles, an enhanced seat with a dual-tone finish, body-colored mirrors, and a chain drive. The specifications are similar to those of the S1 X+. It is available with two battery pack options: 3 kWh and 4 kWh.

Ola S1 Pro +
The new flagship model is the S1 Pro+, and the biggest change here is the introduction of a 5.3 kWh battery pack that uses Ola's proprietary 4680 Bharat Cell, developed in their Giga factory. The numbers are truly impressive: 13 kW (17.67 PS) peak power, a top speed of 141 km/h, an IDC range of 320 km, and acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.1 seconds.
It also features rim decals, two-tone seats, chain-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and dual-channel ABS. As for variants, two options are available:
- 4 kWh - Rs 1,54,999
- 5.3 kWh - Rs 1,69,999
Ola Gen 2 Scooters
After launching the 3rd generation, Ola has dropped the prices of their generation 2 scooters for the next 7 days and now there starting price are:

Verdict
Ola Electric is here not just to stay, but to rule. This was the energy that CEO Bhavish Aggarwal exuded at today's event. He repeatedly emphasized how they have focused on performance, engineering, and reliability, and how their rivals still cannot compete with their Gen 1 scooters. Looking at today's showcase, it's pretty evident that they are leaders in their field. With 320 km of range on offer, they have set a new benchmark.
