Ampere Magnus G Max: What All It Gets

One of the Ampere Magnus G Max's biggest strengths is practicality. It offers a generous 33-litre under-seat storage compartment, making it one of the more spacious electric scooters in its segment. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and dual rear shock absorbers. In terms of features, the Ampere Magnus G Max keeps things functional and user-friendly. It comes equipped with all-LED lighting, a 3.5-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a USB charging port for added convenience. The scooter is offered in two colour options - Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green and Cinnamon Copper, adding a touch of freshness to its otherwise practical design.
The Ampere Magnus G Max is powered by a hub-mounted electric motor that delivers 1.5 kW of nominal output and 2.4 kW of peak power, which is well-suited for city riding. The scooter features three ride modes- Eco, City, and Reverse, allowing riders to balance efficiency and performance depending on conditions. With a top speed of 65 kmph, the Magnus G Max is clearly tuned for urban mobility rather than outright performance. Its dual-frame chassis and 165 mm ground clearance should help it tackle broken roads, speed breakers and uneven city surfaces with ease.

Ampere Magnus G Max: Battery, Range and Charging
At the heart of the Magnus G Max is a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, chosen for its durability, thermal stability, and longer charge-cycle life. Ampere claims a real-world riding range of over 100 km in Eco mode, while the certified range stands at 142 km on a single charge. Charging the battery from 20 to 80 percent takes around 4.5 hours using a standard home charger, making overnight charging convenient for urban users. Ampere is also offering a 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty, reinforcing its focus on long-term ownership peace of mind.
Positioned above the Magnus G Grand, the Magnus G Max enters a highly competitive segment. It goes up against established electric scooters such as the TVS iQube, Vida VX2, and other mass-market EVs.
Verdict
With the Magnus G Max, Ampere is clearly targeting buyers who value real-world usability over headline figures. Its combination of a durable LFP battery, claimed 100 km-plus real-world range, generous storage and sensible performance makes it a strong contender for daily urban commuting. While it may not chase outright speed or flashy tech, the Magnus G Max delivers where it matters most for Indian families- reliability, comfort, space, and predictable electric mobility.
