Suzuki e-Access vs TVS iQube Comparison: Price, Range, Features Compared

The electric two-wheeler market in India is getting more competitive by the day. New players keep entering the space, while established manufacturers are testing their hand in it too, turning old nameplates into EVs. That brings us to two names, the Suzuki e Access and the TVS iQube. Both scooters are backed by established brands, have solid funding, growing charging infrastructure to rely on, and years of expertise in building two wheelers. The question now is which of these two scooters offers more value for money or makes for the better package overall. Design And Dimension

The Suzuki e-Access keeps things minimal. It hasn't introduced any new silhouette for the Access, instead just electrified it, so the design stays familiar rather than flashy. The e-Access feels more agile and easy to manage in city traffic situations. Moreover, the highlights include a distinctive raised emblem, vertical LED DRLs, and a two-tone alloy wheel finish add some flair, but overall, Suzuki has clearly played it safe with the styling.

The TVS iQube, on the other hand, looks a bit more premium, especially in the S and ST trims, and TVS offers a wider spread of colour options across variants too. It doesn't look radically different from the e-Access in overall stance, but its detailing feels slightly more contemporary and a touch bulkier in person.

Design being subjective, I'd lean toward the iQube for looking more premium and updated, but the e-Access isn't far behind. This one really comes down to personal taste.

Battery And Range

Suzuki keeps things simple with a single 3.07kWh LFP pack across the e-Access lineup, offering a claimed range of 95km. Meanwhile, TVS has offered iQube with multiple battery packs that includes a 2.2kWh pack good for 94km, all the way up to a healthy 5.3kWh pack on the ST that claims 212km. In terms of options, TVS definitely wins this round, offering different battery packs to match different usage needs, the kind of spread the e-Access simply can't match.

To keep this a fair fight, it makes more sense to compare the e-Access against the iQube's closest matching pack, the 3.1kWh variant, since that’s nearly identical in capacity to Suzuki's 3.07kWh unit. In terms of range iQube takes the lead with a claimed range of 123km which is nearly 30km more than the e-Access 95km claimed range.

However, Suzuki has adopted a different approach in this space, the e-Access uses a LFP battery that runs cooler, proven to be safer and degrades far slower over time, with Suzuki claiming up to 4x better battery life retention than NMC packs. So owning the e-Access should at least keep you stress free on this front.

Features and Practicality

The e-Access comes loaded with a host of features starting with a 4.2-inch TFT display that supports turn by turn navigation, auto reply for calls, weather and rain alerts, quick charging spot info, and parking location memory. Add to that keyless entry, answer back function, auto power off, side stand interlock, and a tip over sensor. The wide seat, especially up front, also makes longer rides noticeably more comfortable. However, it disappoints on practicality with just 17 litres of under seat space, smaller than even the petrol Access, and once the onboard charger sits in there, a full-face helmet won't fit.

Whereas the iQube enjoys its size benefit by offering roughly 32 litres of boot space, nearly double the e-Access. On tech, it gets a bigger 7-inchcm TFT touchscreen on the S and ST variants, along with SmartXonnect that packs in over 100 features via subscription, Noise smartwatch integration, plus a dedicated Relationship Manager and first year Roadside Assistance.Overall, on practicality, the iQube pulls ahead, mainly on storage, screen size, and its broader feature set.

e-Access Vs iQube: Pricing

This is where the gap becomes hard to ignore. The e-Access is priced at Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it firmly in the premium electric scooter bracket. The iQube, meanwhile, starts at just Rs 94,434 for the base 2.2kWh variant and tops out at Rs 1.58 lakh (ex-showroom) for the range topping ST 5.3kWh, which itself offers more than double the range of the e-Access and still costs less. Even TVS's most expensive variant undercuts the Suzuki by a meaningful margin.
