The main difference is that the 1.0 TSI is the smaller, more efficiency-focused engine, while the 1.5 TSI is the stronger and more refined performance option. In India lineup of Skoda, the 1.0 TSI makes about 115 PS and around 175-178 Nm, whereas the 1.5 TSI makes 150 PS and 250 Nm, so the 1.5 feels noticeably quicker in overtakes and at highway speeds. The 1.0 TSI is usually enough for normal city and occasional highway use, but the 1.5 TSI gives smoother 4-cylinder refinement, stronger mid-range pull and is the better pick if you drive fast or fully loaded more often.
