Yes, fitting a CNG kit in a Bolero Neo will usually reduce performance to some extent, especially low-end pull and overtaking response, because CNG setups generally trade some power for lower running cost. On a body-on-frame SUV like the Bolero Neo, that loss can feel more noticeable when the vehicle is fully loaded or driven on inclines. More importantly, Mahindra has not publicly offered the Bolero Neo with a factory-fitted CNG option, so a retrofit kit would be outside the standard factory setup and could create warranty, packaging, and safety concerns if not engineered properly. As for a 5-seater CNG version, I could not find any official Mahindra announcement confirming such a variant.
