Honda has finally launched the new Jazz Facelift in India. The new Honda Jazz was about to be launched in April this year. However, thanks to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, its launch was delayed. The Honda Jazz was first launched in India in the year 2009 but was discontinued soon. In 2015, the carmaker launched the all-new Jazz and people loved it. In 2018, it got a minor facelift and now once again it has got a makeover. The new Jazz gets a minor nip and tuck, new features and BS6-compliant petrol mill. Here, we have for you the First Look Review of the new 2020 Honda Jazz Facelift BS6.

2020 Honda Jazz Facelift BS6: Looks and Colour Options

The Honda Jazz has always been a good looking premium hatch and with the recent update, it has got even better. Upfront, the Jazz gets a new grille with subtle chrome inserts and some blacked-out elements. The chrome-embellished grille of the Jazz is flanked by all-LED headlamps and it gets LED fog lamps and daytime running LEDs too. The Jazz has a tall-boy design and the side profile of the car houses 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. At the rear, it gets signature vertical LED taillights with chrome inserts on the tailgate and a roof-mounted spoiler. The new Jazz Facelift is available in five different Metallic colour shades. They are Radiant Red, Lunar Silver, Modern Steel, Platinum White and Golden Brown.

2020 Honda Jazz Facelift BS6: Engine, Transmission and Mileage

The new 2020 Honda Jazz Facelift BS6 is available with a sole petrol engine. Honda has ditched the oil-burner owing to poor demand. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This petrol motor churns out 90 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 110 Nm of torque at 4800 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 7-step CVT. The new Honda Jazz is very fuel-efficient too. The ARAI-claimed fuel-efficiency of the BS6 Jazz MT is 16.6 kmpl while the CVT version delivers 17.1 kmpl.

The new 2020 Honda Jazz Facelift is loaded with features up to the brim. Taking the centre stage of the dashboard is a DIGIPAD 2.0 infotainment system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen unit. This infotainment system is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and it gets Weblink connectivity too. Some other features of this premium hatchback include an electric sunroof (segment-first), Honda Smart Key system with keyless entry, push start/stop button, voice command feature, automatic climate control and many more. It also gets a multi-function steering wheel, paddle-shifters, cruise control, etc. The safety features of the car include ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors with rear parking camera and more.

The new 2020 Honda Jazz Facelift BS6 is available in three variants - V, VX and ZX. All the variants are available with both the manual gearbox as well as the CVT. The prices of the new Jazz Facelift BS6 starts at Rs. 7.50 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 9.74 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
