2023 Kawasaki Z900 and the Z650 RS have been updated with new paint shades globally. The updated bikes are expected to launch in India soon.
Continuing the wave of change for MY 2023, Kawasaki has introduced two new updated models. The 2023 Kawasaki Z900 & Z650RS naked sports bikes are now available with new colour options globally. There are no other visual or technical changes for the 2023 models apart from it. These new models are destined to launch in India by the upcoming festival season.

2023 Kawasaki Z900 Update Details
Speaking of the updates, the Z900 has been updated with 3 new colour combinations. These combinations include - Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Graphite Grey/Metallic Flat Spark Black, Metallic Phantom Silver/Metallic Carbon Grey and Ebony/Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Grey.
However, the addition of these new colours have also brought along with them new graphics. But, the graphic update remains minimal when we compare it to the previous 2022 motorcycles. Nevertheless, the updates are limited to cosmetics only. So, what about the engine? Well, the company has not fiddled with the powerful 900cc, inline-4-cylinder engine. This BS6 compliant engine produces peak power of 123.64 hp.
The company also sells a different variant of Z900 internationally. It has been named as Z900 SE. Even this variant has received these colour updates. It now comes with an option of Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Grey/Candy Lime Green colours.
In addition to this update, the Z650 RS neo-retro bike has also been updated. Again, the update is limited to cosmetic enhancements. The company has added a new colour option named 'Candy Tone Blue'. It does look amazing & the appeal of this retro-modern bike has increased even more. Meanwhile, the engine remains the same for this too. It means that the old BS6 compliant 649cc, liquild-cooled, parallel-twin engine is being used as it is. This engine produced peak power of 67.31 hp.
India Launch, Price, & Rivals
Kawasaki has a strong market in India. The value for money price tag and the Japanese engineering is much loved by the Indian customers. This possibly means that these new updates are on their way to India too. Additionally, as the updates stand for MY 2023; we suspect that the India launch may take place by this upcoming festive season.
However, the prices will increase due to inflation and updates. The main rivals for Z900 in India are - Triumph Street Triple R & Ducati Monster.
