Honda Hornet Superbike concept trailer has been released over the internet. The new motorcycle is expected to make its global debut at EICMA 2022.
Honda Italy has taken the global automotive world by surprise. A recent social media post shared by the Italian wing of the Honda two-wheelers brought special news. For the first time, the Honda Hornet superbike is teased after its concept was showcased in EICMA 2021. The new naked sports bike from Honda is expected to make its global debut in the upcoming EICMA 2022.

Honda Hornet Superbike Details
When Honda showcased the Hornet back in 2021 as a concept, it attracted a lot of attention. The naked sports bike styling with the butch appeal made sure it turned heads at the EICMA. Now, going by the newly released teaser video, the Hornet is going to be a naked sports bike as visible.
The teaser showcase a sharp and edgy design with the tagline 'Shake up the Hive'. However, we are still not clear about the actual design of the bike. But, going by the silhouette of the 3-D rendering shown in the teaser, the upcoming Hornet does look intriguing. The enticing design will focus on the streetfighter looks as seen on the rivals like the Kawasaki Z900 & the Ducati Monster 821.
There are multiple rumors floating on the internet that suggests it will be powered by a 745cc engine. As per the rumors, this is going to be a twin-cylinder engine that seems to be carried forward from the Honda NC750X. This engine produces 58 hp of peak power on the NC750X globally. Additionally, Honda offers a mix of 6-speed manual and DCT automatic gearbox options on the NC750X.

Honda Italy has also released the exhaust sound attached with the teaser. The sound of the exhaust does comply with a bigger engine, maybe something similar to the 750cc. Who knows, right? Well, all of these questions will shortly be answered when the upcoming Hornet makes its global debut soon. It is highly unlikely that the Hornet will come to India anytime before 2023.
