Keeway V302C - Price Hike Details
Keeway's unique roadster i.e. the V302C is one of the few neo-retro bikes in the sub-500cc category. It has a unique design that appears to be a mix of a roadster as well as a cruiser. The wide and flat handlebar is supported by a round LED headlight. The front suspension is a USD unit while the circular instrument console is a fully digital unit. It also gets a low-slung rider seat with a massive 15-lt of tear shape fuel tank. The mechanicals & powertrain are painted in matte black while the alloys are also of a similar shade. The V302C is available in three colour options - Red, Black, & Grey.
Propelling it is a powerful 298cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This powertrain generates a peak output of 29.5 bhp & a peak torque of 26.5 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The features on it include - LED lights, dual-channel ABS, alloy wheels, 300mm front disc brake, and 240mm rear disc brake. The V302C weighs 167 kg but the interesting part is that it doesn't use a chain drive system. Keeway has equipped it with a belt-drive system which is generally seen on high-end cruiser motorcycles.
Verdict
While the design and styling of V302C is unique, it does have direct competitors. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is one of its main competitors which also offers a better quality as well as a bigger engine. Meanwhile, a distinctive apprach with a different style is what the V302C offers to its customers. Tell us in the comments which bike will you prefer to buy if you had a budget of Rs 4 lakh.
