MG Cloud Crossover: Pricing Details
The upcoming MG Cloud is expected to be priced quite competitively, likely under Rs 20 lakh, with speculation suggesting it could start from around Rs 15 lakh. This electric vehicle is part of MG's expansion plans in India, a joint venture between SAIC Motor and the JSW Group. MG aims to introduce a new model every three to six months, starting from the second half of this year, possibly coinciding with the festive season.
The MG Cloud Crossover is anticipated to be the first model launched in this lineup. This strategy aims to establish MG as a significant player in the Indian automobile market.
MG Cloud Crossover: Design And Dimensions
In terms of design, the MG Cloud will sport an MPV-style with a slightly smaller appearance, accommodating up to five passengers in two rows. Its sleek and minimalist design features full LED headlamps, a distinctive light strip below the front bumper, and a sloping roofline reminiscent of an MPV. At the rear, the car will have full-length parallelogram-shaped taillights connected by a line running through the middle
It measures 4,295 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,652 mm in height. It is sold internationally under different names; in Indonesia, it's known as the Wuling Cloud EV, and in China, it's called the Baojun Yunduo.

MG Cloud Crossover: Battery And Features
The international version of the MG Cloud Crossover is equipped with a front-axle mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 134 bhp. It offers two battery pack options: a 37.9kWh battery providing a range of 360km, and a larger 50.6kWh battery offering a range of 460km. While the specific specifications for the Indian version have not been revealed yet, it is expected to have similar features.
It is anticipated to include a large central control screen and an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument screen. Additionally, it is expected to feature the LingOS 2.0 ecological cockpit along with various other comfortable and convenient features. Safety measures are expected to include up to six airbags, a 360-degree camera system, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
