Suzuki Access

Suzuki Motorcycles India has recently launched a new variant of their popular Access 125 with ABS, priced at Rs 92,238(ex-showroom). Now, it offers ABS with two variants: the RideConnect and RideConnect TFT. However, mechanically, the Suzuki Access ABS remains the same, powered by its 124 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which was updated last year to meet OBD-2B requirements. The engine puts out 8.3 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. With the addition of these variants, Access became the most affordable scooter in India with single channel ABS.
TVS NTorq 150

Going one step above, the NTorq 150 comes at a price tag of Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top spec TFT. Notably, it comes equipped with single-channel ABS as standard across all variants. Under the skin, it is powered by a 149.7cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine which belts out 13.2 PS and 14.2 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, it can run upto a speed of 104km/h. Feature-wise, Ntorq 150 is loaded with a TFT display along with Bluetooth connectivity and some riding aids like traction control, ride modes, etc.
VLF Mobster 135

The VLF Mobster 135 is the newest entrant on this list and certainly an interesting one. Although it sits at a higher price point for a scooter in this space, it stands out as a 125cc offering that brings something truly unexpected to the table. What makes it noteworthy is the inclusion of switchable dual-channel ABS, rarely seen, let alone in this segment. At the heart, it draws power from a 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, which belts out 12PS and 11.7 Nm of torque. Most importantly, it is priced a bit steep at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hero Xoom 160

The Hero Xoom 160 brings a fresh flavour to the mid-sized scooter segment by blending adv inspired design with premium features. Notably, this scooter comes loaded with single-channel ABS as standard. While it comes at a price tag of Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from this, it is powered by a 156cc, liquid-cooled engine which belts out 14.8 PS and 14 Nm of torque. This Maxi-styles scooter comes loaded with a TFT Cluster along with Bluetooth connectivity and i3s technology.
Yamaha Aerox 155

The Yamaha Aerox 155 is one of the most popular sport-oriented scooters in its class, known for blending performance with everyday usability. Powered by a punchy 155cc liquid-cooled engine, which gives out 15Ps and 13.9 Nm of torque. Just like the rivals, it also comes loaded with an Anti-Lock Braking System. While it comes at a starting price of Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) and topsout at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
Aprilia SR 160

The Aprilia SR 160 is a standout choice for riders who want a scooter that feels a bit more exciting and premium than the usual commuter models. At the heart, it is powered by a 160.3cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which belts out 11.27PS and 13.44Nm of torque. On the safety front, it comes equipped with single-channel ABS, which provides enhanced braking control on the front wheel. Alongside ABS, the SR 160 packs desirable features such as LED lighting, a stylish digital instrument cluster, comfortable seating, and a muscular stance.
