The first general service of your car covers limited tasks and thus consumes much lesser time to get executed. Check all the fluid and filter levels checked in the first service even if it is not mentioned in the service manual, just to be on a safe side.
Usually free of cost, the first-ever service of your car, which happens just at the end of the run-in period of your car, might not look significant given, the limited tasks it usually covers. However, it is one of the most important scheduled services, for it is after this service that you gain a few liberty on throttle and driving behaviour with lesser restrictions.
Following are the key checks which you can tell your service personnel to carry out in the first general service checkup of your car:-
Underbody check Whether the car is new or old, the underbody components and panels of a car are equally effected by gravels and fine stones on the tarmac on which the car is driven. Get the underbody of your car checked, if any panel or component is broken or loosened or not.

Fluids check While the fluids of your car, the chief of which are engine oil, coolant and wiper fluid are not majorly consumed in the run-in period, the levels of all these fluids should be checked to remain on a safe side, in order to ensure proper functioning and safety till the next service at least.
Filters check If you have been driving your car in regions with more than maximum pollution or dust levels as permissible, there are strong chances that the air and oil filters of your car will get dirty faster, In the first service, you can get your filters spray cleaned with the help of a vacuum.
Proper wash and clean This is the biggest task to be carried out in the first service, for there is no other major task in this service. Get your car cleaned properly in and out, with pressure wash on the outside and vacuum cleaning on the inside. If possible, get your car coated with ceramic coating as well, in order to retain the shine of the new car for a longer time.
Personal concern There are many circumstances when the car owners tend to note a couple of issues with their cars, related to the operation of levers, panels or any other component, which might be either loose or partially or completely defected. You can get your concern noted with the service personnel and get that issue rectified.
