The Tata Punch EV's battery is covered by an 8-year or 1,60,000-kilometer warranty from Tata. This guards against premature wear and tear and manufacturing flaws in the battery pack. For 8 years from the date of purchase or for a maximum of 1,60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, the high voltage battery pack will be covered under warranty. During the warranty period, Tata will replace or repair the battery if its capacity drops below a predetermined level. Customary requirements are in effect, such as the requirement that the vehicle be serviced and charged in accordance with business policies. If there is any misuse or illegal tampering that results in damage, the battery warranty will be nullified.
