    Review for Tata Tiago

    Great design and safety

I was looking for a family car in a budget of under 8 lakh with safety assurance and great looks. After test driving the Swift, Wagon-R, S-presso, Kwid and Tiago; I found the Tata Tiago to be the best of the lot. The solid build quality and premium feel were the big points behind the buying decision. I bought the Tata Tiago XZ+ before the lockdown and I am happy with my purchase. The doors feel solid and shut with a reassuring thud whereas the seats are very comfortable and supportive. The ride quality of the Tiago is also very good and it can seat 5 family members in comfort. The engine is also adequately powerful but not very refined. You can hear that three-cylinder trump inside while revving the engine hard but that has been minimized by Tata to some extent. I think Tata should have added rear AC vents and rear armrest for added comfort at the rear. Overall, the Tata Tiago has been a satisfactory product for me till now and I have no major problems with this car. If you are looking to buy a car in this segment, you must consider the Tata Tiago.

    Review for Tata Tigor

Recently bought India’s safest compact sedan

Very recently I bought the new 2020 Tata Tigor BS6. I was looking for a compact sedan in the market and was confused between the Tigor and the Ford Aspire and then news came that Tigor got 4 Star safety rating in Global NCAP, so I bought it as for me Safety is utmost priority. The new Tigor looks astonishingly good, its sleek stance looks really good and it has got new design elements. The new Tigor gets a BS6-compliant engine and this engine is although a three-cylinder unit, I liked its refinement and it gives good mileage too. I got my Tigor delivered in March this year but then lockdown happened and so I have driven it just 2300 kilometres till now. I am happy to own the Tigor as it is India’s safest compact sedan.

    Review for Tata Tiago

    Petrol AMT

I bought this car after selling off my old Figo diesel - the shift to a petrol hatchback was nice. I wasn't expecting but the Tiago petrol delivers 14-15 kmpl inside Delhi moving traffic and over 20 kmpl on highway runs at 85-90 km/h. The AMT is a boon, space is as much as Figo and Tata's after sales support very nice. This is a good ownership for me!
