One of the youngest players in the Indian car market has a British heritage but comes under a major Chinese player, SIAC. This company (Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation) has multiple automobile brands under its umbrella and this gives MG an upper hand when it comes to picking a model for Indian use. The Hector is a perfect example, being retailed under various badges worldwide. Their second product, the ZS EV too is not a made-for-India vehicle likewise. As massive R&D costs are saved, it allows the company to price their vehicles very competitively, which making sure they are feature loaded, comfortable and future ready. We say, if you have any apprehensions about the Chinese parent company, don’t think too much as this brand is here to stay for long, with reliable vehicles. Go for one!
Hi, I am sharing my ownership experience of my new electric car which is the MG ZS EV. I got this car in March this year, thankfully just before the lockdown happened. I have driven it around 300 kilometres till now and I have also charged it with the help of a DC fast charger at a MG dealership in Mumbai. The fast charger took 45 minutes to charge from around 35% to 100%. I plugged in the charger at just 35% as I wanted to see how fast the DC charger charges it and it hasn’t disappointed me. The ZS EV is a very good car, it is comfortable, spacious, practical, gets so many features including a panaromic sunroof too. I will drive it extensively post the lockdown to know how it drives and also to test its real-world riding range both in the city as well as on the highway.
I saw ownership reviews on your website so just wanted to tell that we also got a new car and it’s our first electric car. We just bought the new MG ZS Electric car. This is the second car in our family, the first one being the Maruti Baleno. I booked the ZS EV in March and we got it delivered in July after the unlock during Unlock 2.0 in New Delhi. Till now I have driven it just 80 kilometres, so I cannot share a detailed ownership review. But I will try to tell what I liked about the car and what I bought it. Firstly, I would start with its looks, I really like the looks of the new MG ZS EV. Then comes the features, the ZS EV gets so many features including a connected car tech and a panaromic sunroof and all these make it feel so much better. The ZS EV Is also very spacious. Talking about the cons, so I would say as it is an EV, so the price is expensive and also some features are missing like rear AC vents, etc.
Good this car. But safety is 4.5 star honi chaie
This car is very much luxurious but is quite highly priced considering the indian market but the features this company gives are really good .
