Read MoreI saw ownership reviews on your website so just wanted to tell that we also got a new car and it’s our first electric car. We just bought the new MG ZS Electric car. This is the second car in our family, the first one being the Maruti Baleno. I booked the ZS EV in March and we got it delivered in July after the unlock during Unlock 2.0 in New Delhi. Till now I have driven it just 80 kilometres, so I cannot share a detailed ownership review. But I will try to tell what I liked about the car and what I bought it. Firstly, I would start with its looks, I really like the looks of the new MG ZS EV. Then comes the features, the ZS EV gets so many features including a connected car tech and a panaromic sunroof and all these make it feel so much better. The ZS EV Is also very spacious. Talking about the cons, so I would say as it is an EV, so the price is expensive and also some features are missing like rear AC vents, etc.

I have driven it around 300 kilometres till now and I have also charged it with the help of a DC fast charger at a MG dealership in Mumbai. The fast charger took 45 minutes to charge from around 35% to 100%. I plugged in the charger at just 35% as I wanted to see how fast the DC charger charges it and it hasn’t disappointed me. The ZS EV is a very good car, it is comfortable, spacious, practical, gets so many features including a panaromic sunroof too. I will drive it extensively post the lockdown to know how it drives and also to test its real-world riding range both in the city as well as on the highway.

Thankfully, I got the benefit of introductory price as I pre-booked it. I haven’t driven this car much as it is my secondary car and also since March India is under lockdown. I have driven it just around 400 kilometres and I have never tested its driving range. I have charged it just two times and that too in my parking bay with the help of the installed charged by MG. The car drives really well, due to instant surge of torque, it seems very fast and I am quite impressed by its feature-loaded cabin.
