Design: The Kia Syros EV is expected to carry forward the same overall design language as its ICE counterpart, maintaining a compact yet upright SUV stance. It will likely feature subtle EV-specific changes such as a closed-off grille, revised alloy wheels, and unique detailing to distinguish it from the petrol-powered model. The overall silhouette is expected to remain clean and modern, with a focus on urban appeal rather than aggressive styling, giving it a balanced and contemporary road presence.

Features: Inside, the Syros EV is expected to retain a similar cabin layout to the standard Syros, which already focuses on space and usability. The dashboard is likely to feature a large touchscreen interface, digital driver display, and connected car technology. Convenience features such as wireless charging, climate control, and a premium infotainment experience are expected to be part of the package. Safety is also likely to be a pretty solid, with multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, and the possibility of Level-2 ADAS, keeping it competitive within the segment.

Powertrain: The Syros EV is expected to be powered by a 42 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing around 133 bhp and 255 Nm of torque. While official range figures are yet to be confirmed, it is expected to deliver a claimed range in the region of 300 km, making it suitable for daily urban use as well as occasional highway drives. 

Expected Price & Rivals: When launched, the Kia Syros EV will likely be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it in the rapidly growing compact EV SUV segment. It will compete with established options like the Tata Nexon EV, while also going up against upcoming models such as the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV.
