MG Windsor EV Launch Time: MG has started real-world testing of the Windsor EV in India. While there is no official word on the launch, internal sources hint at a possible launch by the end of this year. This will be MG’s third full electric offering for the Indian market. 

MG Windsor EV Price: Pricing will play a vital role in the success of the MG Windsor electric in India. Interestingly, its sticker price varies greatly by country. In China, prices start at Rs 11 lakh (converted), while in Indonesia, the Windsor EV has a starting price of Rs 21 lakh. In India, it will be placed above the ZS EV, which means a starting price of Rs 20 lakh, ex-showroom, thereby being in the same price range as the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV. 

MG Windsor EV Battery & Range: For other Asian markets, the MG Windsor EV comes with two battery pack options: a smaller 37.9 kWh unit and a larger 50.6 kWh one. The smaller battery pack gives it a range of up to 360 km, and the bigger 50.6 kWh battery pack gives a range of 460 km, as per certification. For the Indian market, the company will consider the bigger pack. 

MG Windsor EV Dimensions: The Windsor EV is a sizeable vehicle with a cross-over design, which should please prospective customers. Its length is 4295 mm, width is 1850mm, and height is 1652 mm, which makes it wider and taller than, say, the new Hyundai Creta. What is interesting is the substantial 2700mm wheelbase, which should translate into acres of room on the inside.  

MG Windsor EV Features: MG has always been known to offer class-leading features, and the Windsor will be no different. The interior is expected to get a similar set of features as the international spec model which include automatic climate control, a large touchscreen infotainment unit, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, horizontally mounted AC vents, and a spacious interior with plush seats.
