MG has given the Windsor EV a new special edition called Indulge, priced at Rs. 17,88,900 (ex-showroom). It is a styling and comfort update. Nothing changes under the skin, so what you get is a better-dressed Windsor with extra rear-seat equipment. Here's the detailed description of what changes the new Indulge Edition gets over the regular version.

What’s different on the outside
The paint is the first thing you notice. MG pairs a Shadow Gold body with a black roof, and the contrast continues through the mirror housings and the 18-inch alloy wheels, which are also finished in black. A small “Indulge” badge on the C-pillar is the only text identifying the edition.
What’s different inside
The cabin moves to a tan-and-black upholstery scheme. The front headrests are embroidered with the edition name. The rear seats get the most attention:
- A “PRIVE Screen” for second-row passengers, fitted as standard
- Neck cushions and pillows with Indulge branding
That matters because the Windsor is already known for its reclining rear seats (up to 135 degrees). The Indulge Edition adds entertainment and comfort extras for people who ride in the back.
Optional Accessories
MG will also sell a set of add-ons to personalise the car further. They are:
- Rear sunshade
- Themed 3D floor mats
- Chrome trim for the front grille
- Bumper corner protectors
- Body side moulding
- Leather key cover

Where the Windsor Stands
MG says the Windsor has found more than 80,000 buyers in two years. Citing JATO Dynamics figures for wholesale volumes between October 2024 and August 2026, the company calls it India’s best-selling electric passenger car. Across all its EVs, JSW MG Motor India says it has crossed 1.5 lakh units sold.
Vinay Raina, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the Windsor has helped bring undecided buyers into the EV fold. He added that the Indulge Edition gives them a more premium, personalised choice while MG keeps refining the car in line with what customers want.
Our take
The Indulge Edition is for Windsor buyers who want something more distinctive, especially if they are driven around more than they drive. If you care about range, power, or tech, the standard car is no different. The paint, upholstery, and rear-seat extras are the whole story, so the question is whether they are worth the premium over the regular variant.
