The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will be Toyota's first mass-market electric SUV in the Indian market. The Toyota Urban BEV Concept will be a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki eVitara. The Urban BEV will enter the mid-size electric SUV segment and compete with established rivals such as the MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, and the newly launched Hyundai Creta EV.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella Latest Update
Last Update on 20th Jan'26: Toyota has unveiled the Urban Cruiser Ebella electric SUV in India, with bookings opening from January 20. It shares its platform, battery options and core specifications with the Maruti e-Vitara but gets distinct Toyota-specific styling. The EV will be offered with two battery pack choices, with the larger unit claiming a range upto 543 km, while prices will be announced soon.
