Volkswagen Taigun Facelift

On April 9, 2026, the Volkswagen Taigun facelift is set to launch. This update gives the sporty SUV a refreshed front and rear profile, enhancing its road presence with connected LED lighting and a new bumper decorated with chrome inserts.
It will also get new features such as a panoramic sunroof, rear massaging seats, and improved AC cooling. Additionally, it is expected to receive an 8-speed automatic gearbox, introduced with the Skoda Kushaq facelift, as both cars are part of the same group. Mercedes-Benz CLA EV

The CLA nameplate, set to arrive in an all-electric avatar this April, is one of the most anticipated Mercedes-Benz launches in India. Built on the new MMA platform, it replaces the A-Class sedan, along with the EQA and EQB eSUVs. It will be offered in a single 250+ variant, powered by an 85.5kWh battery pack with a WLTP-claimed range of up to 792km. The rear-mounted electric motor produces 272hp and 335Nm.
In terms of design, the CLA gets a sleek, aerodynamic profile with a 0.21Cd drag coefficient and comes standard with the AMG Line package. Highlights include a blanked-off grille with star-shaped LED elements, matching DRLs, projector LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED taillights. Inside, it features a dual-screen setup with a 14-inch infotainment system running the latest MB.OS.
MG Majestor

The MG Majestor SUV, positioned as a rival to the Toyota Fortuner and an alternative to the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tayron, is expected to go on sale in April. While the exact launch date is yet to be confirmed, it is set to replace the Gloster as MGs flagship ICE offering.
This three-row SUV will be available in two trims - Sharp and Savvy - with the top-spec variant offering both 6 and 7-seat configurations. Under the hood, it will feature a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine producing 215hp and 478Nm, paired with both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and four-wheel-drive (4WD) options.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella

Toyota's sibling to the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, the Urban Cruiser Ebella, is set to launch in April 2026. It debuted in January and marks Toyotas first all-electric offering in India. The Ebella will be available in three trims - E1, E2, and E3 with a choice of 49kWh and 61kWh battery packs, offering a claimed range of up to 543km.
Compared to the e Vitara, it gets a distinct front design with sleeker headlights and a revised bumper, while the side and rear remain largely similar. Inside, it shares the same layout, featuring dual digital displays, a fixed glass roof, a 360-degree camera, Level-2 ADAS, a powered driver's seat, and ventilated front seats. While prices are yet to be announced, we have seen it in person, so check out this first-look review.
