The Veloz is a mid-size MPV from Toyota. It has been on sale in key international markets and could be a good alternative to the likes of the Kia Carens and Maruti XL6 in India. Key Features of Toyota Veloz
9-inch Touchscreen with Smart ConnectivityThe Veloz is expected to come with a 9-inch floating touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This setup makes smartphone integration smooth and keeps the cabin feeling modern and feature-rich.
- Digital or Part-Digital Instrument Cluster
Toyota may offer a digital or hybrid instrument cluster with customizable displays. It will show key info like fuel economy, trip data, and safety alerts more clearly.
- Toyota Connected Services
The Veloz could receive Toyota's connected-car features that allow remote locking, vehicle status checks, and alerts. These features improve convenience and keep owners informed even when away from the vehicle.
- Panoramic Sunroof
A panoramic sunroof may be offered to match rivals like the Carens. It adds light, space, and a premium ambience inside the cabin.
- 6 Airbags
The expected safety equipment includes six airbags for improved protection in frontal and side impacts. This strengthens Toyota's reputation for offering dependable family safety.

Last Updated On 7th May'24 : If launched, the Toyota Velox 3-row MPV will come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. This 7-seater MPV looks sporty and modern from the outside. Large 17-inch alloy wheels, styling design theme and LED lights all around are the highlights. Given its pricing in countries like Thailand, Toyota could very well get this under the Rs 15 lakh bracket. Will they? Our fingers are crossed!
Price: The expected price of Toyota Veloz is around Rs. 14 lakhs ex-showroom.
Engine: It comes with a 1.5 litre 4 cylinder 16-valve petrol engine that puts out 106 PS power with a peak torque of 138 Nm.
Dimensions: In terms of dimensions, it measures 4475 mm in length, 1775mm in width and 1770mm in height.
Features: It comes with a host of advanced features like a wireless charger, fully-digital instrument cluster, 3 drive modes, 9-inch touchscreen display, ambient lighting, an electronic parking brake, USB charging ports, puddle lamps, and more.
Safety: The safety is pretty robust with features like 6 airbags, lane-departure alert, pre-collision system, hill start assist, blind-sopt monitoring, 360-degree camera, and more.
Colours: It comes in 4 colour options namely Pearl White, Purplish Silver, Metallic Black, and Dark Red Mettalic.
Rivals: It rivals the likes of Kia Carens, Maruti XL6, and other MPVs in the segment.
Ground Clearance: The ground clearance stands at 190 mm.
