Read MoreWe own the new Mahindra Marazzo MPV. We bought this car in October 2019 as it was getting good discount offers back then. I got the M6 variant with captain seats in the middle row and these seats are very comfortable. Also, this car has really good ride quality and is very good as a highway tourer. It isn’t too bouncy as the Bolero and the Scorpio and at low speeds too, it drives nicely. I don’t drive this car much as I have a driver and I usually sit in the second row. I drive it occasionally and I feel that at city speeds, it isn’t very good but out on the highways, it is nice. We have driven this car 5500 kilometres and overally, I am happy with it.
Read MoreHi, I own the 2018 Mahindra Marazzo. I believe this is the first proper MPV from Mahindra and I was really fascinated by the design and interiors of this car, so I purchased it. I bought the top-spec M8 variant of the Marazzo in December 2018. Earlier, I was about to get the Maruti Ertiga but then I stretched my budget all the way to get this MPV as it seemed better buying option. The Marazzo has a really good ride quality and I have taken it multiple times on long distance journeys. It delivers decent mileage of around 10-12 kmpl in the city and around 15-17 kmpl on the highway. Till now, I have driven it 16,000 kilometres approximately and would say it is much better than older Mahindras.
Read MoreOur 2018 Marazzo is M8 model and we have covered 35000km in it despite four month lockdown period. The car is used extensively around Trivandrum and although we wanted an automatic (hope it comes soon), had to settle down for the manual. Glad to experienced that gear shifts are smooth and clutch isn’t too heavy. Also, the top model costed us about Rs 15 lakh but does not come with push button start or telescopic adjustment for steering. Also, some people say that the engine is small, only 1500cc, but I am happy with the torque and also the economy. If you drive at 90 km/h on highway, this one will give you easy 18-20 kmpl which is surprising for a large MPV. Mahindra should get an automatic quickly, probably add some features and this will be a good family MPV at far less cost than the Innova.
Read MoreWe have two Marazzo in our fleet of cars for commercial usage. These are the base models and we are very happy with the cars till now. Both have covered over 1 lac kilometers each and are used for ferrying customers from one city to other. The best part is the fuel economy which is over 16 km/l on highways as compared to 13 we get in the Innova. Customers do not complain about comfort factor either and there is good space for adults and luggage. Regular service cost has been acceptable also and we hope Mahindra takes out petrol option so that we can fit CNG kit easily. CNG is available in North India very easily and will further help to reduce the running cost for operators like us. At this price, the Marazzo is a very good option in front of the Ertiga also. So please do consider this MPV.
