Last Updated on 26th Feb'24: Tesla Model 3 is one of the entry-level offering from the brand with a long range of up to 629 kms. The main highlight  of any Tesla vehicle is its self-driving feature.

Engine: Electric motor(s) - Rear-Wheel Drive or All-Wheel Drive options.

Mileage: Tesla’s official website says the WLTP-claimed range of 513km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 629km for the all-wheel-drive version.

Dimensions: Dimensionally, it is 4699 mm long, 1851 mm wide, and 1476 mm tall.

Ground Clearance: The ground clearance of Model 3 stands at 137 mm.

Battery Specifications: The Model 3 is expected to come with two battery packs: 50 kWh and 75 kWh. On a full charge, the smaller battery can give a range of 350 kilometres and can accelerate from a standstill to 100 kilometres per hour in 5.6 seconds. The top speed is 210 kilometres per hour. The battery can be charged to 210km range in around 30 minutes with a supercharger added. The larger 75kWh battery pack can travel 500 kilometres on a single charge, accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 5.1 seconds, and reach a top speed of 225 kilometres per hour. In terms of charging time, Tesla Superchargers can charge the Model 3's battery to the point where it can travel 281 kilometres in 15 minutes. A regular charging point, on the other hand, will take roughly 20 hours to fully charge the battery, whereas a 7 kW charger will take around 8.5 hours.

Features: It features advanced features like 15-inch touchscreen, 12-speaker sound system, LED lights, heated seats, panoramic sunroof (optional), 12-way power-adjustable front seats, tinted full-width glass roof, and auto dimming, power folding and heated ORVMs.

Safety: Standard Autopilot driver-assistance features, optional Full Self-Driving Capability, drivers and passenger airbags, and more.

Colors: Colours offered with the Tesla Model X include white, black, grey, blue, and red.

Price: Expected to start from Rs. 70 lakh to Rs. 90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Rivals: It rivals the likes of Mercedes-Benz EQC, Audi e-tron, BMW iX3, Volvo XC40 Recharge.
