Tesla has quietly upgraded the India-spec Model Y Long Range RWD with a larger 84.2 kWh battery pack, increasing its WLTP-certified range from 622 km to 661 km on a single charge, without any change in price. The enhanced range adds around 39 km of usability, while performance figures and pricing remain unchanged, with the Long Range variant continuing at Rs 67.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV still delivers brisk acceleration and premium features, making it an even stronger choice in the luxury EV segment.

Tesla expands Model Y accessibility in India by enabling online ordering from anywhere in the country. Previously limited to select regions, the new booking system allows customers nationwide to place orders directly through Tesla’s official website, simplifying the purchase process and widening the EV’s market reach. Deliveries and configurations remain the same, with the Model Y continuing to attract interest as a key premium electric SUV option in India.
