BYD Sealion 7

Front end - Sealion 7 is now the flagship EV of the BYD company, and from every angle, it speaks of opulence. The LED headlight design is very similar to what we’ve seen in the BYD Seal, but here they are bolder and bigger. Also, the bumper design has a typical EV look but still appears handsome. It also features a radar for ADAS functions.

Side profile - The Premium variant boasts 19-inch wave swing wheel hubs, while the Performance variant features 20-inch wheels. Also, it features flush door handles, which pops up when you approach towards vehicle.

Rear profile - It has a curved SUV-type shape, giving the vehicle sporty aesthetics. Plus, the rear LED tail-lights will again remind you of the Seal, but these are more angular and slim. The overall design language of the Sealion 7 is suave with a sporty flair; after all, it's an SUV.

The Sealion 7 features flush-door handles that electronically pop up when you approach the vehicle. Also, mirrors are electronically heated, which helps remove moisture from the glass in extremely cold temperatures.

The boot opens electronically again, and there is 500L of space available, along with a 50L frunk.

Inside, there is a 15.6-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The most exciting feature is that it rotates from a vertical to a horizontal position, enhancing the passenger experience.

There is a massive panoramic glass roof that doesn’t open but fills the interior with natural light. For an exceptional musical experience, BYD has added a 12-speaker DYNAudio system.

The front seats are fully electronically adjustable, come with ventilation functions, and are fully covered in leather. Additionally, the overall comfort and under-thigh support are fantastic, making long journeys more enjoyable.

ADAS Level 2, with a radar and camera-based system, and 11 airbags on offer - this is a highly equipped SUV from a safety point of view. Some of the ADAS features are - Lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, intelligent cruise control, blind spot detection and more.
