BYD Atto 3

• The front face of the Atto3 has a futuristic design that gives a bold look to the car. The double projector headlights with LED DRLs provide simple elegance. The minimal use of chrome on the grill gives a sophisticated presence to the Atto 3. The black theme on the bumper provides vents for better aerodynamics.
• When you look at the side profile, the 177mm (unladen) ground clearance helps boast the SUV character. The 4m length surprisingly enhances the space inside the cabin. The alloy wheels design is sharp and designed aerodynamically. The sloping roofline gives it a good stance from the side.
• The ORVMs have a first-in-segment feature of NFC Card reader which helps lock and unlock the car with just by tapping the card. 
• At the rear, the simplicity in the design language is carried forward with the design of the taillamps. The all-LED taillamps justify the statement of premiumness. The rear continues to have the black treatment on the bumper as the front to enhance the simplistic design and have a similar language. 

• When we step inside the cabin, the interior of the Atto 3 is neat and clean. The use of a white and blue material provides a premium appeal inside the cabin. The upholstery is a light shade with blue and white tones, and red stitching. Maintaining it can be a difficult task. The ambient lights enhance the cabin experience at night with lights all around the cabin.
• The dashboard layout features a dual-tone treatment. The soft-touch materials take it a step ahead. With a 12.8” display the touchscreen infotainment is the biggest in segment. It is slick to use and feels responsive. It even changes the orientation with the touch of a button. 
• Many unique elements inside the cabin enhance the overall aesthetics of the cabin. The fit-finish quality of the materials feels premium and justifies the price tag.  
• The seats provide sheer comfort. The cabin is well-equipped with plenty of cubby holds. The gear selector is a push-type knob and is based on futuristic design language.
• Some extra features at this price point like memory function for the front seats and lumbar adjustment could have been offered. 

• Talking of the comfort level of the Atto3, the rear seats offer a premium experience. The tuning of the suspension is softer, resulting in sheer ride quality. Well, cushioned seats are present and knee room shoulder room, and legroom are good enough for 3 passengers in the rear. 
• To store your water bottles inside, There are ample cup holders and bottle holders. All the doors can accommodate 1L bottle each and different cups can be placed in different cupholders at the front and back. 
• The rear AC vents and USB charging sockets pamper the rear passengers. They are offered to charge your devices and provide ease of comfort. 

In its price segment of approx 30-35 Lakhs,its nearest rivals are the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV. 

• Talking about the motor specifications, the ATTO 3 comes equipped with a 60.48 kWh battery along with a PMSM motor. This motor churns out 201 BHP and 310 Nm of peak torque and all the power is delivered to the front wheels. 
• The Atto 3 comes with blade battery technology. This battery has a claimed range of 521 Km (WLTP) and in real life, it will return about 400-450 km very easily. 
• Pushing it to its maximum limits, It goes to a top speed of 150-170 km/h depending on the mode you are driving and has 3 modes for regenerative braking on offer. 
• Charging an EV is still a big concern in the market. Considering the charging time, using a DC fast charger, it goes up to 80% in 50 minutes. While using an AC charger, it will take around 9.5-10 hours for a complete recharge.
• The 3 driving modes on offer are, ECO, NORMAL, AND SPORT mode. The range and the power delivery alter in each mode. The Sports mode is the most powerful with punchy performance. However, the range drop is really quick. In ECO mode, the power delivery can be felt sluggish but the range is ample enough.
