BYD Sealion 7 Gets a New Dynamic Variant; Priced At Rs. 41.90 Lakh (Ex-sh): Details Here
BYD India has widened the Sealion 7 lineup with a new entry-level trim called the Dynamic, positioned as an easier way into the brand's premium electric SUV range. Launched at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 41.90 lakh, the new variant slots in below the existing Premium and Performance trims and becomes the third option in the Sealion 7 family. Check out more details about what all the new "Dynamic" variant offers and why it has been launched below.

What's New With The Dynamic Trim
The Sealion 7 Dynamic is built around a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery pack, the smaller of the two battery options BYD offers on this SUV, the other being an 82.56 kWh unit reserved for the higher trims. BYD claims an NEDC-certified range of 520 km from this pack and puts the 0-100 km/h sprint at 7.3 seconds. Buyers get four exterior shades to pick from: Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Shark Grey.

Underneath, the Dynamic doesn't strip away BYD's core technology set. It continues to run on the brand's e-Platform 3.0 architecture and keeps signature features such as Cell-to-Body construction, Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control, a panoramic glass roof, and a rotating touchscreen infotainment display, along with the usual suite of driver-assistance and safety systems.
Where It Fits In The Lineup
With this addition, the Sealion 7 range now spans three trims, which include Dynamic, Premium, and Performance, giving buyers a wider spread of price points and performance characters to choose from without moving away from the model's core design and safety credentials. BYD says the move is meant to make its premium eSUV proposition accessible to a broader set of customers in India.
Festive Offers Apply To The New Trim Too
The Dynamic variant is also covered under BYD India's ongoing "Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD" festive campaign, which kicked off on August 1, 2026. Customers opting for this trim can avail:
- A free 7 kW home charger, including installation
- A 10-year extension on roadside assistance coverage
- An extended warranty of 10 years or 1.5 lakh km (whichever comes first) on the LFP low-voltage battery

The SUV has also picked up a string of awards, including a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, Luxury Mid-size SUV of the Year honours, and recognition for its Blade Battery technology at multiple industry award functions through 2026.
