Review for Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

    Good first car

I own a 2017 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 VXi top model. The Alto 800 was our first car. Before buying, we were confused between Renault Kwid and Maruti Alto but we went ahead and bought the Alto because there were no Renault dealers in my town. I have a very low-running as I travel just around 400-500 kilometres in a month. The Alto 800 is very affordable to maintain, the engine has not given any issues till date and it delives good mileage. I have done three long distance journeys in my Alto 800 with my family and what I felt is that it is best to be driven between 60-80 kmph, post that it starts wobbling as the tyres are very small and also the fuel economy drops. I really wish Maruti upgrades its tyres in future.

Review for Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

    Happy with the purchase

We bought the new top model of Maruti Alto 800 in January 2020. We own the top-end VXi Plus model which gets a new touchscreen system. We wanted a small family car and the first car which came in our mind is the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800. We also checked the Maruti S-Presso but we didn’t like its styling. We bought the Alto 800 in January 2020 and till now, we have driven it around 3900 kilometres. We mostly drive it in city and occasionally on highways. Till now, we haven’t faced any issue in the Alto but we do wish that Maruti should have offered fog lamps. We mostly drive in night due to night duty and during winters, the light throw wasn’t adequate, so we installed aftermarket fog lamps. Apart from this, everything is good with our Alto 800.

Review for Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

    2 year old K10 Review

Hi, I own a 2018 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 VXi model. I bought this in March 2018. In my two years of ownership, I had good as well as bad experiences with it. Firstly, telling about the bad ones, so as it was my first car and although I know how to drive, the main gate of my house is a bit narrow and so it has got multiple scratches on the outside rear view mirrors and minor ones on the front bumper too. Then, once I parked it near a bank and a biker collided with the door of my car and it was completely shattered, thankfully there was a CCTV outside the bank and so I got it repaired with the help of insurance. Now, coming to good ones, this car is very spacious compared to Maruti 800 (which was out first car), it has got good amount of features too and it is very comfortable to drive. The car delivers good fuel economy and in two years, I have driven it nearly 16,000 kilometres.

Review for Maruti Suzuki Alto 800

    Uber Driver's Alto Review

Hello everyone, I own a 2019 Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 LXi model. I am an Uber driver in Lucknow and I bought this Alto 800 in April 2019. In around one year, I have done around 17,000 kilometres on my Alto 800. I mostly drive on the city roads of Lucknow where I get mileage of around 17-20 kmpl depending on the traffic condition. I have also done two runs on the Agra-Lucknow expressway and the best mileage I have achieved is 24 kmpl from this car. Talking about the good and the bad things, so first of all this car helps me to earn so it is a good thing for me, then comes its low maintenance cost and also the service is available everywhere, it also offers good mileage, so helps me to save money a lot. Talking about negatives, so I feel that the car has very small and thin tyres, when I was on Agra-Lucknow expressway, I never went above 80 kmph as I was afraid and also it isn’t very spacious, my friend owns a Kwid and that one is more spacious than this car.
